The Baltic Opera's production will be inspired by the Łódź version of the ballet from 1985. Shakespeare's work, which serves as the starting point for the staging, revolves around the drama of lovers - Hermia and Lysander - who, seeking refuge in the Athenian forest from the girl’s unyielding father, become entangled in the everyday lives of forest spirits led by Puck. A comedic ballet with mythology in the background.
