Piotr Zioła presents a new album - Wariat.
The release, which came out on November 4, was preceded by three singles: Błysk, Choć czuły gest tu radości niesie mniej, to krzywda nie rozlewa łez and Prąd with full symbolisms in music videos, which were co-created by the artist himself as the director and screenwriter. Piotr takes us on a journey with his second album, helping us discover what was happening in his life over the last few years when he unexpectedly disappeared from the scene. Each of the tracks subtly describes experiences from that period. The artist, with the help of invited guest writers Paulina Przybysz, Justyna Święs, Bisz, and Rasa, tells the story of a man, the titular wariat, who despite adversities has the courage to embrace life with both hands.
The compositions were created through the collaboration of Piotr and outstanding musicians: Krzysztof Kawałko, Marcin Ułanowski, Staszek Wróbel, and Paweł Zalewski. The producers of the album are Piotr Emade Waglewski and Jan Biedziak. As Julia Właszczuk wrote in Vogue magazine: Wariat is an eclectic mix of genres, aesthetics, and stories that have come together for the artist's return. It is the result of experimentation and crossing boundaries.
Piotr Zioła debuted in 2016 with the album Revolving Door, which won a Fryderyk award, and the single Safari from it achieved Platinum status. The artist has participated in many projects; you can hear him on the compilation Albo inaczej; he has collaborated with artists from various musical worlds, including Rysy, Flirtini, Miuosh, Wojtek Mazolewski, and The Dumplings. He has also performed at major Polish festivals: Open'er Festival, Kraków Live Festival, Męskie Granie, and Fest Festival.
