PROJECT OF ACTORS' INITIATIVES - A MUSICAL JOURNEY THROUGH POMERANIA AND KASHUBIA
The third installment of the Project of Actors' Initiatives
The concert "PoMorskie opowieści ...na nowo zagrane" is a musical journey through Pomerania and Kashubia, led by three completely different women. Their stories will be narrated through traditional, although often forgotten, songs from this region. You will hear, among others, "Reboczczi", "Róży kwiat" and the Kashubian version of the song "Dwa serduszka" known from the film "Cold War". Contemporary arrangements surprisingly well illustrate the timelessness of the texts and emotions contained within them. The concert is not only a journey into the history and folklore of Kashubia and Pomerania, but also an individual story of life for each character appearing on stage.
