"Don Quixote"

The Baltic Opera invites you to the premiere of the ballet by Ludwig Minkus, Don Quixote, which will take place on December 3rd. "Don Quixote" by Ludwig Minkus is one of the most famous classical ballets. It tells the story of a misguided knight who experiences incredible adventures during his journey. The tale is exceptionally funny, colorful, and vibrant, not only due to the plot but, above all, the music that draws on Spanish rhythms. Southern accents will also be visible in the original scenery prepared by Damian Styrna and costumes by Hanna Wójcikowska-Szymczak.
The performance is prepared by the duo of choreographers Izabela Sokołowska-Boulton and Wojciech Warszawski, who usually direct the ballet team of the Baltic Opera and have previously created choreography together for Act II of Giselle by Adam and Cinderella by Prokofiev.
