Three days of original, improvised music featuring intriguing artists from various parts of the world, chosen by the outstanding pianist, composer, and one of the most creative jazz musicians, Marcin Wasilewski. The city of Sopot and the Baltic Artistic Agency BART invite you to the Sopot Jazz Festival - a grand celebration of jazz music, which will take place from October 7 to 9, 2022.
Sopot Jazz Festival is one of the oldest and most recognizable jazz festivals in Poland. Its history dates back to 1956. The upcoming international event will feature six concerts, with the participation of several dozen musicians. The selection of artists is overseen by the outstanding pianist, composer, and one of the most creative Polish jazz musicians, Marcin Wasilewski, who serves as the festival's curator. In planning the event, he seeks out and invites exceptional stage personalities, who occasionally appear at concerts in Poland, guaranteeing a high level of musical experiences.
