At the beginning of next year, Kazik will perform at the Gdańsk stage in Stary Maneż, along with excellent musicians from the ProForma Quartet, who have been attracting crowds of fans for years. The only five-member quartet in Poland, and perhaps in the world, currently focuses primarily on its own songs, but from the very beginning of its activity, it has included its own arrangements of works by Jacek Kaczmarski, the Kaczmarski-Gintrowski-Łapiński trio, and all songs by Stanisław Staszewski in its repertoire.
The band also performs works by Georges Brassens (in translations by Wojciech Młynarski) as well as Nick Cave and Tom Waits, in original translations by Przemysław Lembicz. A characteristic feature of the Quartet is rich arrangements, in which, in addition to the basic instruments, there are also double bass, accordion, mandolin, various percussion instruments, and since 2012, drums.
In its original activity, the band creates music to the poems of Konstanty Ildefons Gałczyński, Jacek Kaczmarski, and Krzysztof Gajda.
